IPC 3.3 & OMAP54x Support

I'm looking into updating to IPC 3.3 from 3.21, and there doesn't seem to be support for the OMAP54x. Specifically the ex02_messageq example that existed in IPC 3.21. I also noticed the following in the release notes "Remove OMAP5 Linux and QNX support." Can someone please clarify OMAP54x support in IPC 3.3? Will the example from IPC 3.21 easily port to IPC 3.3?
