AM3359 / PROFINET

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSICE3359

We use AM3359BZCZA80 and QNX. And we would like to develop device with implementation Profinet. But for implementation Slave Stack Code we must use software from Molex, for example.
Is it required software from Molex for implementation Profinet or not?

I found this

http://www.ti.com/lit/wp/spry252a/spry252a.pdf

"In order to integrate PROFINET slave into industrial equipment, customers can use TI’s PROFINET slave implementation and complete their design process using the evaluation copy of the PROFINET Slave Stack Code provided in the SDK. The Slave Stack Code is originally obtained from a third-party vendor. If so desired, customers can also use a slave stack from a different vendor or develop their own. The customer should use PROFINET IO Tester to pass all tests. Optionally, they can then get the product certified at COMDEC certification labs and may also perform broader interoperability tests at the PROFINET plug fests. "

PROFINET RT

NOTE 1: PROFINET I/O Device is certified by COMDEC for Conformance Classes A and B

NOTE 2: As per the SLA terms, TI cannot distribute the PROFINET slave stack code from Molex in source format. The evaluation library is provided with this release. For production use, one has to obtain the license directly from Molex
