what is the unit of vsync of display in am335x platform

Hi, I am using Kyocera tft display of 800x480 resolution. in the display parameters, what the value I should specify for hsync and vsync. The hsync is specified as 1056 Tc and vsync is specified as 525 Th. Tc= 33MHz, Th = hsync.

I have attached the table of parameters from the data sheet. Please, reply asap as it is very urgent for me.

Hi Bikash,

HSYNC and VSYNC should be specified as number of pixel clocks.

Hi Biser, thanks for the quick response, with reference to the above table, can you please help me, what value I should specify for hsync, vsync, front porch and back porch.

are the following values are correct ?

clk=33

hsync=1056

vsync=525*1056

horizontal front porch=40

horizontal back porch=88

vertical front porch=11

vertical back porch=32

I don't know what software you are using, but in SDK 6.0 you can add your display and it should look something like:
