encoded quality between different codec

Dear Experts,

We are using DVR_RDK 3.5.

We are trying to change codec from REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.04.01 to REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.08.00.

We had product on REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.04.01.

We want to keep same quality when we update codec to REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.08.00.

Is there any quality difference between two codec version?

How can we guarantee same quality between two codec version?

    Hi HB,

    There is no quality degradation (if that's what you are worried about) from REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.04.01 to REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.08.00.

    Certain bug fixes and feature additions have happened in codec since REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.04.01.

    Please refer the Release Notes from REL. 500.V.H264AVC.E.IVAHD.02.00.08.00 for these details.
