Regarding DM814x hang

Hi,

We are using ezsdk version ezsdk_dm814x-evm_5_05_01_04 .

To solve our DM hang issue we referred errata  of DM814x Advisory 2.1.51(Page no 58).

We enabled the HDVPSS VIP inline scalar (by enabling scEnable flag in overlay firmware) and we didn't observed that hang issue, but we are facing issue with HDVPSS VIP inline scalar.

We are not able to use DEI OMX component while capturing data from VIN0, it gives "unrecoverable error: OMX_ErrorInsufficientResources ", but its working fine when we captured from VIN1.

Please suggest how can we use inline scalar with DEI component?

Regards,

Devang.

  • Hello,

Could you provide a debug log when gave the error.

  • Hello,

When you perform capture from VIN1(VIP1) is the resolution PAL(576i) used?

    Best Regards,

    Margarita

  • Hi Margarita,

Yes, we are capturing PAL on VIP1.

    Thanks,
    Devang
