i am a new user of dm355

i have to play a multimedia file using mpeg4 codec for video and g711 codec for audio using gstreamer framework.

i succed to play the video but i couldn't use the provided g711 codec in dm355 with gstreamer

help please

Hello Seif,

Right now the TI GStreamer plugin doesn't support speech codecs -- only audio, video, and imaging. It probably wouldn't be to hard to add though. You might want to post a question on the forums at http://gstreamer.ti.com and see if anyone else has added support.

I'm not sure if you're interested in .mp3 audio support, but the open-source "mad" gstreamer element plays mp3 files on DM355. If this interests you, you may want to look at
