I have already read through that literature, and am already somewhat familiar with the concepts involved.

I should have probably asked a more specific question: I want to go under the minimal allowed frequency (275MHz).

Is this possible in software, or are some hardware hacks needed? 

I am also familiar with the unstability of the MPU domain when OPP50 voltage amplitude is used. So, I would like to reduce the frequency to as low as possible, while keeping the power terminal of the MPU as defined in OPP100.

Is this feasible? What would be the best way of achieving this in SW or/and HW?

The frequency listed in the OPP table is the maximum frequency, not the minimum for a given OPP. You can go below this frequency, but how far down I don't know.

@Biser That sounds promising. When I mentioned OPP's I was thinking of the voltage. I hope this makes sense.

Can you bootstrap the answer in a few words so I can investigate further on my own?

@rogerio: Yeah, I saw that one and it gave me hope. Still, I am not sure on how to approach this issue. 

I have the SK EVM and would like to test it to how the board behaves. I will e.g. not be needing the Ethernet, so 

that is one limitation less.
