About the NAND bad block checking of bootloader(C6678)

In the nandwriter in mcsdk2.01, I found that the bad block is be check and skip in checkBadBlockMark(),

I want to know that in bootloader(RBL, IBL), dose the bad block be check?

In anther word, when there are bad blocks in nand flash, is the program can boot from nand flash normally?

Hi Yin,

Yes there is a bad block check implemented in the ROM bootloader. The ROM bootloader looks for a valid boot image in a sequential manner skipping (and marking ) any bad blocks upto the first 32 blocks on the NAND before reporting a boot failure.
