Syslink Kernel 3.10 Support

I am attempting to build the SysLink module for kernel 3.10. I came across an older post saying that SysLink is only validated to kernel 2.6. Is this still the case. I have not been able to find a page discussing what kernel SysLink was validated with. Where can I find that information.

Hi Timothy,

In OMAPL138 LCDK board has tested SYSLINK with linux kernel 3.3 and not tested with later.

Nowadays we have switched from SYSLINK to IPC so, it does support for latest processors.

What processor are you using ?

Hello Titus,

I have made it a little further attempting to install Syslink. However, there seems to be a problem in one of the Linux header files. Specifcally, arch/arm/plat-omap/include/plat/iommu.h. I am attaching the full error output. An excerpt is included below. I found another post discussing the same problem. Hi Timothy,

I believe the latest DVSDK for DM3730 supports Linux 2.6.37. So anything beyond that we can only offer limited support. I googled around regarding the error you are getting and found this patch:

Maybe a similar workaround would help?
