Good day,

I planing to design audio decoder for modern audio formats as Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D with 12-16 audio channels.

Is it possible to make it in C64x multicore DSP on will be enouth one core DSP.

I planing to make board without cooler, is it posible for this chips, do you planning to make programming decoder of this formats?

I planing to design budjet 16-24 chanels audio prossesor for decoding new audio formats like Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, IMAX for home costomers. Output chips are TAS5624A (about 100 Wt per chanel), inputs are HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 also SPDIF include.

I found Multi-DSP hardware platform for audio development http://www.mds.com/products/eq1-hwdev .

I think it is the best TI product for this design, but it is too expensive.

May be will be better to use multicore C6000 DSP?

Hi Dmitriy,

are you looking for a processor you want to design your HW with or for a ready to use HW platform like the one you were referring to?

If you're looking for a processor the TMS320C6657 would be a good choice I believe.

I'm looking for a processor to design HW platform decoder like Dolby Atmos(till 24 channels HD audio) and Auro 3D(till 16 channels HD audio). Also include HD Dolby and DTS HD(till 8 channels HD audio) from HDMI input and SPDIF.

Can I use HDMI and SPDIF modules based in Analog Devices chips with TMS320C6657?

Can I use TI DTS HD and Dolby HD programing decoders with TMS320C6657?
