can't get "CC..." in boot

Hello,

I am using DM814X with the following bootmode:

BTMODE[4:0]	1st	2nd	3rd	4th
10010b	NAND	NANDI2C	SPI	UART

I work with custom board, which worked fine till now, in which I use boot from serial and boot from nand. both worked OK.

The last action I did was nand scrub (not the first time which I did this with the custom board).

After this action I don't get "CCC..." in serial. I had similar issue some time ago and whenever I has this issue inserting the jtag cable, and resetting solved this issue. Now even this does not function.

Does anyone knows why I don't get "CC..." when there is nothing in nand (and other interfaces) ?

Ran,

Can you try with setting the BTMODE[4:0] for UART 1st option for boot, do you have the "CCC..." then?

Hi Pavel,

I'll check if that is possible, but probably it will require some HW change for the testing.

Hi Pavel,

I've managed to restore the boards, by using CCS+jtag and loading u-boot.min.uart on board, and then continue the programming process.

But I still don't understand why nand scrub (after successful finish) will bring the board to such condition where we do not get to boot from UART (no "CC...")
