About lcd on the AM335x starter kit

I found on "TMDSSK3358_3H0009_REV1_2B_SCH.pdf", page 9, what is the function of "J2" module, i saw it have I2C interface, but when i checked the spec of lcd, i didn't found these pins.

J2 is a connector for capacitive touchscreen controller, which is not implemented on the SK. It uses a resistive touchscreen connected directly to the AM335X ADC pins.

So I don't need to connect it(J2) to I2c pin of MCU(AM335x) in the new board if I use a resistive touchscreen connected directlyto the AM335x adc pins, am i right?? I just want to double check, thank you, Biser.
