C6745 Maximum CPU Frequency

Using C6745, what is the maximum CPU frequency can be used?

In device information, it can be used as 456MHz at 1.3V core voltage,

but PLL can be set up to 600MHz, and it works anyway in my test.

Can I use it as 600MHz? or is it a kind of overclocked?

    Hello Haeseong,

    The maximum CPU frequency of C6745 device is limited to 456MHz at core voltage of 1.3V.

    Though the PLL has a frequency scalability up to 600MHz, the C6745 device must be limited to operate at maximum of 456MHz.

    The C6745 device cannot be operated at 600MHz. When you increase the operating frequency beyond 456MHz, it is overclocking. It is not advisable to operate the C6745 device at overclocking as it leads to many failures internally and the device reliable operation is not guaranteed.
