BASEP register

Hi,

I don't understand the Base Pixel register in the VPBE and I hope that someone knows the correct definition.

In the hardware reference manual the BASEP is defined as a reference pixel being defined from the start of the H/VSYNC signal. When I look at the timing diagram (fig.1) the formula would thus be:

BASEPX = HPW + HBP

BASEPY = VPW + VBP

But the frame being displayed on my monitor does not begin at the upper left corner. It is shifted to the right and downwards.

What is the correct formula for the Base Pixel?
