Varying the frequency of AM335x processor on runtime

Hi Experts,

I am new bee to the AM335x processor kind.

Is it possible to vary the frequency of the AM335x processor on the go ?

I had went through the concept of "Frequency scaling" in Linux which does this action. In that case how the PLL's and other contents of processor will be maintained ?

Is it like changing the frequency of processor alone or for the entire SoC chip ?

When you say "of the processor" I think you more specifically mean "of the ARM". Yes, the ARM has its own dedicated PLL which means you can change the ARM frequency without affecting anything else. This is discussed here:
