JPEG 2000 encoder

While trying with the JPEG 2000 encoder testbench, we found that the input buffers have two bytes per pixel so as to support dynamic range of upto 12 bits per component. Is there a way to specify that the input data has one byte per pixel rather than two bytes?

Hi Bharath,

J2K Encoder assumes that input buffer is always 2 bytes per pixel, even though input data has one byte per pixel you need to typecast the input data to 16 bit values before sending to encoder.
