PRU rpmsg lib

Hi there,

I'm interested in using the PRUs as described in http://events.linuxfoundation.org/sites/events/files/slides/Enhancing%20RT%20Capabilities%20with%20the%20PRU%20final.pdf. In slide 23 there is mentioned a "PRU rpmsg lib".

Where can i find this lib? Are there any further information/documents about PRU rpmsg libs besides these slides?

Thank you very much for your answer. I did have a look into the PRU Software Package. Unfortunately the provided lib (pru_vring.c) does not provide any information about how to use it. Is there any documentation/examples about how to use this lib? The examples provided by the pru-software-package are not using the rpmsg-infrastructure as far as i can see.

Thanks for your interest in the PRU. The rpmsg library is there, but we are still developing the examples to use it. Essentially, the PRU firmware (fw) needs to use the vring that is populated in the resource table, and "kick" the appropriate hardware mailbox. This will get the data to/from the rpmsg bus.

We are also developing a generic rpmsg client driver to pass the data to/from userspace.

Unfortunately, I don't expect this work to get completed for a couple of more months.

I am very interested in seeing an RPMsg example too.

I would like to see documentation of the "Resource Table" to be put in the PRU firmware, and the necessary PRU device tree properties.
