Pandaboard with MIPI DSI hardware connector

hello,

I have two questions to ask.

I want to transport data by MIPI Interface.

I read pandaboard spec.

I find out I can connect pandaboard and LCD module by J7 connector.

Is it right?

 And my configuration is below:

I have one CLK lane and Data lane.

CLK lane P is DSI Signal Lane 0 Data X  (J7 pin11) ?

CLK lane N is DSI Signal Lane 0 Data Y  (J7 pin13) ?

DATA P is DSI Signal Lane 1 Data X (J7 pin17) ?

DATA N is DSI Signal Lane 1 Data Y (J7 pin19 ) ?

GND is DND(J7 Pin9 Pin12 Pin15 .....).

 Is it right?

plz tell me answers.

thanks!!!

  • Hi,

You are correct, J7 connector is a MIPI DSI Display expansion connector.

The pins you listed are the correct ones. You can verify them yourself, from Table 8: DSI Display Expansion Connector Pin Definitions (J7) in OMAP4460 Pandaboard ES System Reference Manual (http://pandaboard.org/sites/default/files/board_reference/ES/Panda_Board_Spec_DOC-21054_REV0_1.pdf)

    Best Regards,

    Yordan
