Question about AM437x EVM

Hi,

I have a question about AM437x EVM.
In BOM list of AM437x EVM, there is a following socket for AM437x.
*Manufacture : IronWood
*Manufacture#: SG_BGA_7146

Why there is socket for AM437x on EVM?

Hi g.f,

This is probably left in the BOM from the first EVM prototypes, built for the factory team. Production EVMs don't have this socket.
