AM3352 Recommended alternative parts

Hi,

There is a new statement added to AM3352 product folder,
and it says "Recommended alternative parts"...

Does it mean AM3352 is not recommended for new design?
I Haven't seen such statements before.. the word "alternative" is confusing!!

No, it doesn't mean that AM3352 is not recommended for new designs. These are simply the high-end devices from the family.

One more explanation; when a particular device is no longer recommended for new designs, our Product Folder has a clear indication " NRND" following the part number.

Check for example http://www.ti.com/product/TMS320C54V90?keyMatch=nrnd&tisearch=Search-EN

In the AM3352 case, we are simply informing that we have similar parts....I appreciate your feedback and I will pass it to our internet marketintg team, perhaps we can consider changing the wording to avoid confusion.
