SATA Support in U-boot

HI,

I am using the latest EZSDK, 5_05_02_00 for DM8168 board. I want to know, whether it is possible to do read and write operation in SATA in U-boot level. If so, is there any customization needs to be done in the source code level.

No, SATA is not supported in u-boot. See the below wiki page for what is supported in u-boot and what is supported only in linux kernel:

I too would like to read from SATA HDD using ext2load in u-boot to flash our NAND with new binaries (not boot from, read from). Has the PSP group added support for SATA in uboot yet or is it on the development roadmap? Currently running PSP04.04.00.01...

Hi Troy,

The SATA is nor added in TI81xx u-boot neither will be.

The latest TI81XX PSP is 04.04.00.02 with several patches above, but no SATA u-boot there.
