OMPL138 UART0 UART Host Utility

Dear Team,

We have a custom board with OMPL138 Processor, current we are loading the AIS File through UART2 and it is working fine with Uart Host Utility of loading AIS file, we had a requirement for I2C1 and it is muxed with UART2 So, we migrate console port to UART0, uboot changes are done and tested with CCS and generate AIS file, when we load the AIS file in Uart Host Utility tool, when i press start, it just waiting for BOOTME then i pressed reset button, but there is no action take place still it waiting for BOOTME, but i open in hyperterminal and press reset it will display BOOTME string.

Can any tell me what the issue with loading UART0 ais file with Uart Host Utility.

Hi Jithin,

How about the baudrate of UART0 ?

Have you tried the same with OMAPL138 flash utility ie sfh_OMAP-L138.exe ?

Hi Jithin,

My guess is that you have taken the source code of serial flasher utility, "OMAP-L138_FlashAndBootUtils_2_40" and modified to use UART0 instead of UART2? right?

First of all, if it is for a custom board, we have to make sure that the necessary modifications as given in the below link are made in the sfh source code and rebuilt.

Particularly, in Device_uart.h, set the UART peripheral number appropriately to which the host PC is connected with the board.
