GPIO driver source code in ti sdk 7

Hi,

Please help me in writing driving code for GPIO User led's of BEagle bone black, I want to write a driver code library. So can any give me some example driver code? Is there GPIO driver source code available in ti-sdk7?, if it is please provde me the location.

Hi,

For that purpose please see examples for am335x-evmsk board. The mux initialize is located in /home/users/imatrakov/ti-sdk-am335x-evm-07.00.00.00/board-support/linux-3.12.10-ti2013.12.01/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evmsk.dts file. In "leds" initializations you will see the compatible = "gpio-leds"; This "gpio-leds" next you will see in a .../drivers/leds/leds-gpio.c. There is located leds initialization and with .../drivers/input/keyboard/gpio_keys.c will see how leds works.

Can u please explain, what is meant by "compatible = "gpio-leds"?, I am working on beagle bone black. If I want to write char driver shall i use these api functions? or if there is any sample char driver code, pls share me.
