converting .out to .dat and .bin

Can anyone help me in converting .out into .bin and .dat file?

Is it necessary to convert an out file to bin to flash it?

I tried using nandwriter_evm6678l.out to write my out file into NAND by just renaming .out with .bin .The program was writing to the specified mem location but when I try NAND booting the written program is not running.

Can someone help....

Hi,

I have flashed my code of bin format into flash.I want it executed through NAND boot.I changed the switch setting to NAND boot.But still the code is not executed .I guess its because the default format of boot set in IBL is BBLOB.

How can I change it to ELF?I have changed the default format in I2Cconfig.gel. Can you brief me the procedure I need to follow after this much is done?
