Need guidance for ARM processor design

I am prabhakaran from AKAS Medical equipment working as Hardware design Engineer. Now i am designing ARM controller based products. For my next product i decide that processor based design with C64x Single Core ARM processor. kindly guide me to design with processor and what are the requirements for design. Anybody please guide me to design

C64x series processors are DSP processors.

I would like to suggest to use "OMAPL-138" processor which has both ARM (ARM9) and DSP (C674x) processor.
