OMAP L138 LCDK 30 fps image processing

Hi;

My application needs real time image processing for optical sorting on dsp kit without intermediate PC.

the multicore c6678 have no camera interfaces so,

is OMAP L138 LCDK board and processor are capable for my application to process 30 fps D1 resolution color images?

is it the VGA port can used as input from camera ?

what about the Leopard Imaging camera sensor input (32- pin ZIP connector)

is it line camera sensor or some interface for external camera?

if TI has such a DSP development board, which having on board camera and video output. if so ,please suggest.

    VGA is used for display interface.

    For camera input, you can refer to the J16 connector LCDK boards and we have dedicated interface for camera as well as display (VPIF capture & VPIF display)

    We have one more interface that J9 composite input for camera interface but we can either use VPIF capture or composite for camera interface.

    In general, OMAPL138 LCDK board will be allowed to receive raw image or YUV video decoded data in different formats from CMOS camera sensor.

    VPIF interface would be used for camera sensor and it supports leopard imaging camera sensor input.

    I don't think, TI supports on-board camera and you could use only external camera sensor through VPIF interface.
