Dear E2E community,

I need to understand ROM BOOTLOADER CODE in AM335x along with the code, could you please provide me the Technical manuals if you have for ROM BOOTLOADER CODE along with the source code

I'm searching this from many days, kinldy do the needful as early as possible

The source code cannot be provided. All the information you need is in the Initialization chapter of the TRM.

Hi Srini,

For any particular purpose you are looking for the ROM Bootloader source code?

Are you stuck with something, due to which you are asking for it?

Usually the user will not get the ROM source code as it is not needed by them.

I require this code to know whether ethernet driver configuration is done in ROM code or not, if not am planning to do it in ROM code , so that I can be able to load my uboot.img & MLO through tftp or could you please let me know is there any other alternatives to load uboot.img & MLO through network

Hi Srini,

Refer your SoC's bootloader document.

It won't initialize the etthernet unless your processor supports ethernet boot and configured to ethernet boot.

In case ,your processor supports ethernet boot and you configured boot switch settings to "ethernet boot" mode then ROM code initialize the ethenet configuration.

Could you please first confirm that MLO & uboot.img can be loaded through tftp?..if this is possible could you please let me know, Incase of beaglebone black, could you please let me know how this switch settings can be made to boot from ethernet, so that I can load my uboot.img & MLO through tftp

Any hardware changes is required in beaglebone black??... inorder to switch to boot from ethernet & then load MLO & uboot.img???..
