What is the maximum effective throughput speed that can be achieved in the AM335x SDIO host interface ?

Is there any test suite or bare metal code available to validate that for various clock frequencies ?

No, only Linux. WinCE BSP is third-party software (Adeneo Embedded) and not supported by TI.
