C6678 connect to a 4 *8 DataWidth DDR3 device,will the performance be influenced?

Hi,TIer.

I wanna use C6678 to connect 4 *8 DataWidth DDR3 devices,as the C6678's DDR3 data port's width is 64,A 32bit width will influence the C6678's performance?If the operating frequency is the same.

We wanna use C6678 to do H.265 encode/decode,such as enode a 720P30 video into H.265 bitstream.

Hello SuitJune,

The C6678 device with a 64-bit DDR3 implementation can be configured for x32 operation. The total memory size will be halved. The NM bit sould be the only change at the DDR3 interface configuration level. There may be application changes needed due to the reduction in addressable memory and the performance also would not be representative of using x64 bit interface.
