AC97 support on DM816x through McASP

Hi,

I am using the latest EZSDK, 5_05_02_00 for DM8168 board.

McASP interface from DM816x CPU can be connected to the AC97 codecs?

If yes any application notes available?

I made a search and in what I was able to find, DM816x McASP does not support AC97.

Feedback from the McASP team:
McASP does not support AC97. Basically if you have word-width frame syncs on McASP, the low and high portions of the frame sync clock cycle have to be the same length. AC97 sometimes will have the low portion of the frame sync last more or less than the higher portion.
