Sorry, I cannot help. The link you provide requires a request form to be submitted to Micron and I cannot do that.

You can check AM335X requirements for NAND flash in section 26.1.7.4 of the AM335X Technical Reference Manual Rev. K.

- You might not be able to boot from this NAND flash, as the boot rom code can not do ECC for this Flash.

- So you have to provide another memory for the boot loader.

- In the boot loader and in the OS, you might have to implement ECC by software. Which will be slow.

- You might be required to use a file system / FTL which can do "scrubbing", like UBI. Without scrubbing, lifetime of your data might not match your expectations.

To avoid these problems, we have done the switch to eMMC.
