Recommended Linux setup for DSP applications on Overo?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP3530

I see that TI provides a Linux distribution (in the Platform Support Package) that is intended for the OMAP35x EVM.  I'm exploring the use of the OMAP3530 for joint DSP/CPU applications, and my development platform is based on the Gumstix Overo.  There appear to be two options: getting the PSP to work on the Overo, or using some variant of Openembedded.  It doesn't appear obvious since the DSP is not yet supported in any Openembedded distribution that I am aware of.  My goal is to obtain kernel and filesystem images that allow me to compile and run the TI DSPLink examples on the target machine.  Can anyone recommend a starting point?

Thanks

Michael
