I'm working with our customer board using DSP C6655. The design is based on EVM C6657.
We have 3 Micron DDR3 RAM devices (2 devices for 512MB memory as EVM C6657 and 1 for ECC).
At the moment the ECC feature is not enble but the 3. device for ECC is mounted on the board.
Do you know if the 3. device can disturb the timing of DDR3 memory because it was mounted on the board without being enable?
Should I remove the 3. device to be sure?
