AM335x with PRUSS in small ZCE package

Is there any version of the AM335x family in the smaller ZCE package that has the PRUSS available? Some version of the documentation seems to suggests it may be available but other documentation and at least one version of the web site says otherwise.

For example Digikey lists a XAM3358ZCE which should be a member with the PRUSS and in the ZCE package.

Hi,

The PRU is available on AM3356/7/8/9 processors. AM3356/8 have PRU but do not have the EtherCAT feature. All these are available only in the ZCZ package.

this is new to me... Pins (and therfore some interfaces) are package dependent but not the PRUSS (so may use PRUs without any external interface...).

We have considered a possibility of having ZCE with PRU but this never took off, in case you have a business case, please contact your local TI representative.

sorry if I caused confusion here. Really this is down to the fact that we have ZCE package only for AM3352 and AM3354. Theses are the devices without PRUSS...

So indeed there is no way to get PRUs on a small package - at least for now...

Hi Rogerio,

We should update the datasheet. Page 8 of SPRS717G still mentions ZCE as possible option for AM3356.

Is AM3358 going to be available as ZCE as mention on the below web page?
The XAM3358ZCE is neither listed in the "sample and buy" section of teh web nor in the datasheet but just at:

The correct part number we have it AM3356BZCEA60; 600MHz, with PRU and extended temperature.

Is the AM3356BZCEA60 an orderable part with the PRU in the small ZCE package or are you saying that is the mistake in the docs? The AM3356 page doesn't list that as an option at the moment.

I have seen this part show up in the orderable part number in some version of the datasheet. The latest one seems to no longer list it.

Hunyue, I checked our system and it has AM3356BZCEA60 but it does not list AM3358BZCEA60....I am checking the reason for this discrepancy...sorry for the inconvenient this may be causing....
