Read uboot Environmental Variable from Board file

Hi All,

I am using AM3517 EVM board. I want to read the uboot environment variable from board file. (board-am3517evm.c). Please let me know if any functions are available to read uboot environmental variable.

Hi,

The kernel starts in init/main.c - start_kernel(void). You can see in this procedure many initializations and calling the setup_arch(&command_line); This is locate in arch/arm/kernel/setup.c. Here in setup_machine_tags(machine_arch_type); the uboot environment variables are assigned. After this moment you can read these parameters. You can organize which way to do this - with global parameters or other way.
