DM8148 video format

None of vout supports more than 8bit per color components.

But datasheet says VOUT[1] supports 30-bit video format.(section 8.10)
VOUT[1]_R_CR[1:0],VOUT[1]_B_CB[1:0],VOUT[1]_G_Y_YC[1:0]
In section 12.1.3.2 of technical reference manual its given as " Supported video input formats are 4:2:0 and 4:2:2. ". My question is if I go with VOUT[0] which is 8 bit ,will it support 10-bit 4:2:2 format().(VOUT[0] - totally 24 bit for YCbCr , if we go with 4:2:2 10-bit mode it only requires 20bit ). Please correct me if i am wrong

Hi Madhura,
Even if the output lines are 24bit, there is hardware no support to get more than 8bit per color component. 24bit output lines are mainly used for getting 24bit rgb output.

If I use VOUT[0] port will it support 4:2:2 8-bit video format??
