Default L1/L2 cache size in the Processor

Hi Experts,

What is the default configured value for the L1 and L2 cache memory in the AM335x for the Linux SDK 6 and 7 ?

Where to change it and how it impacts the performance ?

AM335x has L1 and L2 memory for cache purpose.

L1 Instruction cache (L1I) -> 32KB
L1 Data cache (L1D) -> 32KB
L2 cache with ECC -> 256KB
By default, AM335x MPU has L1 & L2 memory as cache with above size to speedup the performance.

Where could I modify the cache size ? any board specific config file ?

I hope that you can't change the value but enabling & disabling can be done through "make menuconfig"

System Type --->
[ ] Disable I-Cache (I-bit)
[ ] Disable D-Cache (C-bit)
