Can we connect YUV sensor[gives output YUV-4:2:2] to parallel video port(VIP) of ISS, on DM8127

Hi All,

I want to know is it possible to connect a YUV sensor [output format - 4:2:2 YUV], to parallel video input port (VIP) of ISS, on DM8127?

We have connected Data lines D0:D7 from sensor, to CAM_D[0] - CAM_D[7] lines on processor. HSYNC, VSYNC and PCLK we are also configuring as External, and connecting these lines from sensor to CAM_HS, CAM_VS and CAM_PCLK.

If yes, how can I test capture interface? I just want to capture YUV frame through ISIF and dump it to a local file.

I have made all the required pinmux settings and register settings for above configurations.

But when I try to run "Capture+display" sample demo, I do not get any frame dump on A8. Please note I have enabled "FRAMES TO A8 := YUV/RAW" from Rules.make

Please help on this issue.
