i am installed ccs5.5 but when i'm installing mcsdk dependency problem occurring why?

Could you please attach a scree shot of that dependency problem to understand more about your problem.

CCS 5.5 installed first in my debian(linux).

successfully installed ccs 5.5.

then i'm going to install mcsdk.

bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_06_setuplinux.bin BIOS MCSDK Post Production Package for Linux (RELEASED ON: 2/8/2013)

i downloaded this version and i installed.

inside packages of bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_06

mcsdk-2.1.2.6

pdk_c6670-1.1.2.6

ipc 1.24.3.32

imglib 3.1.1.0

dsplib-3.1.0.0

mathlib 3.0.1.1

cgxml 2.30.0

omp 1.1.3.2

openem 1.0.02

installed successfully.

but after opening ccs its wants to add discovered products. i given finish.

Hi Sridharan,

Some time, we may get errors like this from CCS when you install multiple versions of same package.

Say ex : BIOS, IPC,EDMA etc.,

Ex:
Unselect the bios package (6.33.0.50) ,NDK,OMP,XDCTOOL and give finish.
It means you got already installed BIOS higher version than 6.33.0.50.

Hi,

I guess, you have to un-check the IPC package and others like EDMA, XDC, ( of multiple and different versions)  but not the PDK packages.

Actually you can ignore this message and go ahead using the example programs of PDK.

It is not mandatory to success this step. You can easily import the example programs and use it straight away.

What you have is the working version of CCS 5.5 only.

In the screen where it displays "select all" / "deselect all" , choose deselect all and give finish.

Hi Sridharan,

You can't work with PDK examples without installing the MCSDK package, you will get PDK directory when you install MCSDK.
So, you can ignore this CCS error and able to build and run those PDK examples on EVM board.
