Getting Pure-FTPd to work on AM335x

Hi,

like suggested in this post, I cross-compiled pure-ftpd for AM335x, but unfortunately it is not working. I tried to follow this tutorial http://articlebin.michaelmilette.com/setting-up-pure-ftpd-in-ubuntu/, but I fail to go through with this line

pure-pw useradd $USERNAME -u ftpuser -d /home/ftpuser

It says

-sh: pure-pw: command not found

Can someone please help me?

Sorry, didn't mean to do anything wrong, I thought this was a different issue, that deserved a new thread, for better distinction. Should I post my question in the old thread?
