GP Timer№2 in GEL file

Dear TI Community,

I'd like to launch TI RTOS with DM3730 (BeagleBoard-xm) processor. My current stop point is adding initialization of GP Timer2 into GEL file.

I can't find any appnotes about timers and initialization algorithm of timers. Where I can find it? In the datasheet only overall information.

You should obtain useful information about timers from the Technical Reference Manual section 16.2 General-Purpose timers which can be found at the link:

Yes, I already read it, but there is only overall information, and there isn't any algorithm. May be there is any more helpful documentation like appnotes? With description step by step ... or example.
