I'm working on the AER aer_c55l_obj_17_0_0_0. At now I'm working on the test project  and I need a confirmation about test file.

I have tried to play the fe_16k.pcm test files with audacity. Audacity proposes to import it with 8bit PCM-little indian 2 channel. With this configuration I have one channel with voice (clear) and the second channel with only noise. Is it right?

Or the config file indicates that the file must be in PCM 16 bits signed. If I import the file with PCM 16 bit, I have only noise on the two channels...

However if I want to import the second file ne_pink_16k.pcm, Audacity indicates 16 bits PCM. When I play the file, there are only clear voice and  no noise.

Wich format can be use ?
