disable printing

Hello,

I would like to ask if there is some simple way to disable printing in linux.

I use dvrrdk, and I see that whenever I stop and start new chain there are many printing from the M3 chips.

I would like to know If there is some simple way to do it,

Hi Ran,
What you meant by printing ?

"printk" messages ?

If yes, use "silent" keyword in bootargs and reduce the printk level.

Hi,
I call the main application with &: dvr_rdfk_xx &
But I still see all prints from M3, I suspect that this printings slow the speed when mocing from one video chain to another.
