Bootmode switch issue in C6678 EVM

hi,

In our EVM C6678, bootmode switch value is not coming up properly. i'm trying to set 0x0000082B for NAND booting over I2C but DEVSTAT register value is stuck at 0x0000080B.

can anybody tell me how to reset the device so bootmode switch value i can get properly..

Hi,

I think problem on your EVM hardware. I have tested the same in EVM C6678, it is showing proper DEVSTAT value. see below screen shot.

Refer below wiki link to select "IBL NAND boot on image 0" boot mode switch settings

Hi Ganapathi,

Previously it used to latch correctly, i just flashed " i2crom_0x51_c6678_le.bin" file into EEPROM using eeprom writer.

did it create this problem ???

Have you flashed the " i2crom_0x51_c6678_le.bin" successfully?

Have you modified the IBL source code?

Refer below wiki link to reflash the pre-build IBL binary(i2crom_0x51_c6678_le.bin) to EEPROM(0x51) memory.

yes, it was flashed successfully.
but my concern is if by chance it does not flashed successfully so will it create such kind of problem ??? i dont think so..

Hi,
In order to flash new file in EEPROM by using eeprom writer the device has to be in No boot condition, but im always getting DEVSTAT: 0x0000080B and when i run the gel file got this console message,

my device is not coming out from I2C mode eventhough switch setting is no boot.

pls help me to resolve this issue ...
