IVAHD Revision History

Walter Haskell

I need to know what the differences are in the IVAHD block interface between the implementation on Omap4 and DM816x. Can anyone point me to a documentation that would help me figure this out?

I would suggest you to check both TRMs. Search for IVA-HD subsystem.

Margarita,

I am assuming you meant for me to pull these documents and to compare them. So I did that and these document don't seem to contain the level of detail to determine changes between the two. These documents are laid out very differently which adds to the difficulty of comparing them.

Hi Walter,

Please refer user guide of codec for the same, look for "Release Package" in encoder and "Netra" in decoder user guide. You can also go through the sample flow in test application to see how the netra flow differs from omap4.
