Disabling CPPI41 DMA makes the device not working

Hi Experts,

I Tried disabling the CPPi41 dma mode for the Host alone USB mode in the Linux SDK 7.0 3.12 kernel using Menuconfig.

But the USB device doesn't works properly.

Hi,

The CPPI 4.1 is part of the USB subsystem in AM335x devices. It is responsible for supporting the transmission and reception of USB packets. You can't just cut it off the kernel.
To get familiar with the CPPI 4.1 DMA and its functionality you can refer to Section 16.3.9 Communications Port Programming Interface (CPPI) 4.1 DMA of AM335x TRM.
