why am335x MLO(SPL) 's .bss is in sdram?

hello everyone, I found the .bss is at 0x80000000 address in the u-boot-spl.lds. Can we use the sdram int the MLO stage? I think we can only use the internal sram befora initialize the sdram. thanks.

One of the spl (x-loader) tasks is to initialize the sdram, load the u-boot in it and execute it, refer to: www.omappedia.org/.../Bootloader_Project

yes, I know this,but I think .bss is used before the spl initialize the sdram,isn't?thanks.

The MLO performs several functions, one of which is initializing the DDR, and one of which is initializing the .bss section. DDR initialzation occurs before .bss initialization.

Thank you, the .bss section is not needed when the MLO is loaded, isn't it? I thought the .bss section is needed when loading the MLO to the sram, why? Would you explain to me? thanks
