ata driver c55x in CSL

You can use the function ATA_setDateTime() for changing the date and time of a file. This function uses application plug-in functions to get the date and time to set. You need to configure get_mod_time and get_mod_date function pointers in AtaState(ata.h) structure while initializing ATA driver. Return time value in get_mod_time() and date value in get_mod_date() in the format mentioned by FAT specification.

What exactly do you mean with "configure"? Can you give a short example for that?

What I mean by 'configure' is to initialize the ATA state function pointers with your application function addresses. Check below example.

unsigned int my_date;
unsigned int my_time;

unsigned int set_date(void)
{
return my_date;
}

unsigned int set_time(void)
{
return my_time;
}

/* Initialize function pointers before calling ATA_systemInit() */
gpstrAtaDrive->get_mod_date = (AtaUint16 (*)())set_date;
gpstrAtaDrive->get_mod_time = (AtaUint16 (*)())set_time;

Or simply you can modify ATA_setDateTime() to receive date and time as function parameters.

You can also use pAtaFile->Time and pAtaFile->Date in case you just need to set the date and time while creating the file. Set these two fields before calling ATA_create()

That's clear.
But how are the Date and Time coded, so that I can set the date to e.g. 04.02.2015 at 12:00:00 ?
Date and Time are 16 Bit values, so how are they calculated, converted?
