Does AM3505/AM3517 support LPDDR

Dear experts,

I see on different material this description are different. Some says AM3505/AM3517 support LPDDR, some says not. Does anyone can confirm if AM3505/AM3517 can support LPDDR? Thank you very much.

The AM3517 datasheet says fairly explicitly that 'mobile DDR SDRAM' (another way of saying LPDDR) is supported, so I believe that it must be possible, I do not see anywhere that says it is not supported. On the other hand the EVM uses DDR2, so I am not sure there are any reference designs where LPDDR/MDDR was used.

Hi Thompson,

In OMAP35x to AM35x Migration Guide, the last page is one table mention different between OMAP35x and AM35x. In this table it said mobile DDR No support. Maybe this document is too old should update. Pls confirm. Thank you very much.

hi,

you can use LPDDR in AM3703/am3517 up to 16 address line in LPDDR. i already worked on this .this is working perfectly.
