Sys/Bios TMS320C6416 Support?

The devices.html file for Sys/Bios 6.33 lists "ti.targets.C64" as a supported target, but does not explicitly list the 6416 as a supported device. Can anyone clarify whether this device is supported? If it is not officially supported, what is the reason? Thanks!

Hi Ethan,

No, C6416 doesn't have a support for SYSBIOS but it has for DSP/BIOS (older version RTOS)

In this document, why is ti.targets.C64 listed as a supported target? It does not appear as though there are any C64 devices listed as being compatible. I guess I am not understanding what the difference is between a supported target and a supported device.

You can't find any SYSBIOS examples when you create BIOS code for C6416 (C64x) through "Create new CCS project" in CCS IDE.
C64x+ devices does support SYSBIOS but yours C64x.

When you create new CCS project for C64x devices, you can see "ti.C64" as a target. (select platform option to list all the supported platform for the processor)
So, target is the platform package for creating CCS project.
target.C64 can be used for C64x+ devices.
